Police have reissued an appeal on behalf of Sefton coroner’s office to trace the next of kin of man from Southport who sadly passed away.

Allan Larmont, 77, died at his home address on Princes Street on 19th November 2021. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Further enquiries suggest Mr Larmont may otherwise have been known as Allan Muir in life, and that Larmont may have been his mother’s maiden name.

Merseyside Police said: “We are therefore asking again, with this further information, whether anyone may have any information to assist us in the search for his next of kin. Please contact Sefton Coroner’s Office on 0151 934 2399 or email coronerreferrals@sefton.gov.uk.”
