Police were led on a Benny Hill style chase after a group of youths were caught smoking marijuana on Hoghton Street.
An eye witness who was enjoying an evening drink at Reuters watched on as officers from Merseyside Police chased after a group of youths across the street for well in excess of ten minutes before one teenage male was detained by community support officers.
It’s believed the male was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class B drugs.Police were later witnesses chasing four males along London Street towards Asda Supermarket
