Merseyside Police can confirm an investigation is underway following burglary
Officers were called at 11.40pm on Saturday, 3 January to a property on Waterloo Road to a report it had been subjected to a burglary.
Officers attended, the occupier was spoken with and the scene was examined.
At this time it is not known what items may have been taken.
An investigation into the full circumstances of the incident is on-going.
