Police hunt conservatory criminals

Residents in the Bispham road area of Southport are being warned to be in the lookout after a house was nearly broken into.

Overnight a conservatory door was almost smashed in after would be thieves tried to break into a house on Bispham road.

They were disturbed by a dog bark and fled the scene but police are now asking people to be extra vigilant.

It’s thought the thieves may return over the next few evenings as the nights become darker earlier.
