Police cordon off Southport house after serious incident

Merseyside police have cordoned off an address in Cemetery road, Southport this morning.

Police forensics are currently on scene, 7am (Sunday 1 October 2017).

Police are currently questioning a number of people in connection with an incident that took place in the early hours of this morning.

The investigation is in the early stages and Merssyide police will release more details when they become available.
