Police close Preston New road after car crash

Police have closed off a busy Southport road after a two car smash this evening, Monday 23 July 2018.

Recovery vehicles are on scene at Preston New Road after a two car Road Traffic Collision shortly after 8pm this evening.

Traffic has been diverted along the coastal road while police carry out an investigation into the cause of the accident.
