Police close Marine Drive Southport after car crash (otsnews.tv)
The emergency services responded to 999 call shortly after 11:15 this Morning, Tuesday November 17.
Marine Drive in Southport was closed due to a road traffic collision earlier today (Tuesday, November 17)
The road, which passes the Ocean Plaza leisure complex, has now reopened after a car crash involving two motors happened just after 10.40am.
Merseyside Police and North West Ambulance Service were both called to the scene. Merseyside Fire Service sent an appliance to cut the roof off one of the vehicles involved.
One of the cars was a silver Audi estate. Both cars were still at the scene when the emergency services arrived, and nobody has been arrested.
Merseyside police closed this stretch of Road and local diversions remain in operation until the cars are cleared.
