Merseyside Police is urgently appealing for the public’s help in tracing a Southport man who has been missing from home since Wednesday afternoon (January 6th).

Michael Ball, 25, was last seen by his partner at around 5.30pm in Eastbourne Road.

Michael’s family and the police are concerned for his safety and are urging anyone who has seen him since yesterday to contact Southport police station on 0151 777 3416.

Michael is described as white, around 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build with short brown hair, green eyes and an L-shaped scar above his right eye.

When he was last seen he was wearing a blue Adidas hooded top with a white logo, faded black jeans and navy blue trainers.

Michael himself, or anyone who has seen a man that could be him, is urged to call the police on the number above or alternatively call the Missing People charity on 116 000.
