Emergency services have descended on a quiet suburban Churchtown Street following a serious incident.
Police, paramedics and an air ambulance have been called to a property near to the junction of North Road and Balmoral Road in Churchtown.
An air ambulance was called and landed nearby to support paramedics on the ground.
OTS News has approached Merseyside Police for a statement in relation to the incident.
Five police cars, including a matrix van, as well as an ambulance and emergency first response vehicle remain on scene into the afternoon
The area remains open to the public with emergency services activity focused on a private property on North Road.
