Local charity, Compassion Acts, are hosting a free holiday club this month – Summer Fest. For children aged 7 – 11, the two week club will feature a schedule of exciting and fun-filled activities such as team games, cooking, arts and crafts, circus skills, fun science, movie afternoons and plenty more. A delicious and nutritious lunch will be provided each day from local restaurants and caterers including La Tabella in Churchtown.
The club will take place at 4 centres across Southport including Christ Church on Lord Street and Cornerstone Church on Marshside Road, starting on August 16th.
Places are still available but going fast. Due to funding, priority will be given to children who are eligible for free school meals. Full details and booking can be found at gosummerfest.com.
