Dog walkers have hit out at plans to put a nightclub on Southport Pier.
Angry walkers have sent tons of correspondence to OTS News to say that if the plans go ahead the pier will become a death trap.
John Fillis who is a regular dog walker along the pier wrote “nobody seems to realise that this is such a dangerous idea.”
“The Papers in town are blind to the dangers of what happens when a bunch of drunks are walking down the seaside part of pier at 3am.”
“People will fall over the sides or jump into the sea and end up drowning. Do they have no sense of how stupid this idea is?”
