Pick up a pint! Pubs launch innovative idea to survive isolation

The guest house pub in Southport are offering patrons the chance to fill up empty milk bottles with beer during the Coronavirus outbreak.

The Guest House on Union Street have said anyone who is leaving their isolation to pick up a takeaway are encouraged to call into the pub and fill up bottles and cartons with beer from their famous ale taps.

The pub is one of a number across the resort changing their rules and operations to help get food and drink out to customers during the ongoing isolation.
