    PHAB Peter Davies and friends have collectively raised £12606.00 for charity

    PHAB Peter Davies and friends have collectively raised £12606.00 this money has been divided between 2 charities Southport Junior Phab Club and Pancreatic Cancer at Christies The fundraising was in memory of George Nolan who sadly passed away in September 2014 and 3 fund raising events took place.

    A bike ride of 80 riders along the Liverpool to Leeds Canal from Wigan to Appley Bridge and back again, organised by John Mayo. A golf competition with over 60 golfers participating at Gathurst Golf Club, organised by Peter Davies.

    An evening in Swindly night club in Wigan of raffles and Auctions where over 120 people had a fun packed evening, organised by Sheila Nolan. They would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in these fund raising events, from the people who organised everything to all the people who donated prizes.

    One of the event organisers said to OTSnews: ‘It is good to know the support we have and this encourages us to continue the Phab aims of encouraging children of all abilities to join together for fun and friendship in inclusive activities. We now have a substantial amount of money to pay for the annual activity holiday at Calvert.’
