Six thousand people have signed a petition to stop the potential early release of notorious resort killer Mitchell Quy. Currently serving a life sentence for the gruesome murder, Quy was jailed in the year 2000 to serve at least 17 years behind bars after butchering his wife as their children slept in their Birkdale home.
