Person hit by car on Waterloo Road, Southport
The emergency services were called to Waterloo Road, at approximately 11:45am today after a person was hit by a car at the Oxford road junction.
The injured person was helped at the roadside by people that had stopped. A witness told OTS News that it took 30 minutes for the ambulance to arrive.
The injured person was later transferred to Southport DGH.
Their condition is not known at present, OTS will have an official update later.
