Paul Instone jailed after guilty plea of drink driving and without insurance

A Southport man has been jailed after he pleaded guilty to drink driving and without insurance.

Paul Instone, 31, was today jailed for 12 weeks because he has two previous similar convictions.

Police stopped Paul Instone in Ford Focus on Victory Avenue in High Park, Southport, on Sunday, April 19, a breathalyser test revealed he was four times over the limit.

Instone was also ordered to pay a criminal courts charge of £150 plus an £80 victim surcharge and  disqualified from driving for four years.
