Morrisons in Southport is to install Parking Eye ANPR in their car park.
This will replace the old ticketing system.
The maximum stay will be three hours with no return within two. A sign says the system will be in operation from 17th February.
Failing to comply will Morrisons new parking terms and conditions will result in a £85 fine.
