Parents fear prowler on loose in Hesketh Park

Police are hunting a mystery man after fears that someone has been chasing young girls in Southport.

OTS News has received a number of emails from worried parents tonight after they were told of young girls being chased by a stranger through Hesketh Park.

The man, described in his late thirties as Caucasian with short blonde hair and glasses, is reported to have approached a group of high school girls hanging around near the entrance of the park before his actions aroused suspicion and the girls ran away.

He is reported to have shouted after the girls in a foreign accent.

Emails shared with OTS News said it had been reported to the police this evening.

Anyone with information should call 101.
