Paramedics treat man high on spice in town centre

Paramedics were called to a man believed to be high on controversial drug Spice after he was found collapsed on a bench on Lord Street today.

Merseyside police officers managed to wake him up before paramedics arrived and he was given first aid at the scene before being ordered to move along.

A concerned pedestrian who called emergency services reported that the man appeared to be in an almost comatose like state as he collapsed on a bench outside Forum Court residential home.
