Ormskirk gridlocked after crash at Fiveways junction

Police have closed off the road between Southport and Ormskirk following a horrific collision at the fiveways junction, Thursday 16 August 2018.

Emergency services are on the scene although nobody is thought to have been injured in the smash which involved three cars.

Southport Flower Show Traffic is now badly backed up and drivers are asked to take alternate routes in and out of Southport.

Police are asking anyone with dashcam footage to come forward as soon as possible.

An update is expected shortly.
