An award winning French chef has chosen a Birkdale fishmongers to make his Good Friday dish perfect.
Albert Roux OBE, known for his elegant and delicious dishes headed all the way to Hallidays of Birkdale for a huge fish order for his good Friday meal with friends.
The chef bought himself turbot, lobster and halibut in order to create a delicious concoction of meals including fresh wild turbot with a lobster mousse.
A spokesperson for Hallidays said:
“We delighted that Monsieur Roux picked them for his Good Friday Meal, he’s a regular customer , he and his friends had a dinner party on Friday and purchased he ingredients from me then sent me those lovely pics ….He’s one hell of a Chef.”
