Merseyside Police have confirmed that one male has been arrested on Upper Aughton Road shortly after 2.30pm this afternoon following a disturbance at Oriental takeaway, Thursday December 31.
A member of the public at the scene said: “About time the police did something, this gang has been terrorising shopkeepers along Upper Aughton Road for months”.
A PCSO at the scene confirmed the above, but declined to comment further on the incident.
