Your headliner this month is none other than Steve Harris who first leapt on stage back in 1998 and within three months had won himself the coveted North-West Comedian of the Year Award. Like other previous winners: Peter Kay, John Bishop and Jason Manford, Steve’s great asset is his likeability (on top of being hilarious!).
As a result, Kay asked him to support him on tour as have Johnny Vegas and Lee Evans. He’s enjoying great success playing to delighted audiences all over the globe, including venues as far flung as Hong Kong, Australia, and Dubai.
Whatever age or walk of life you’re from Steve has something for you, guaranteed to have you breathless with laughter, a master of the obvious and a Ninja of the not so obvious, you’ll be hit so hard by a punch line you won’t know where it’s come from. With most comedians you might get laughs with this guy you get a guarantee.
“Fancy dancing, quick one-liners and a whole lot of charisma” Daily Post
“Quite simply, fantastically funny” BBC
Kevin Dewsbury performs all over the UK and overseas, has supported Michael McIntyre, Omid Djalili and Russell Howard and has burgeoning reputation as one the country’s top acts. With material ranging from storytelling, observations and one liners he’s been a hit at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in sell out shows to critical acclaim. He’s also must be the only comedian in the world that’s had a role in Martin Scorsese’s recent film ‘Hugo’ and in a Stanjames.com advert. When he’s not being funny on stage he can often be heard Richard Bacon’s show on BBC Radio 5 live.
“Slickness and sheer talent” Time Out
Jay Handley meditates on single life in his 20s, finding love in his 30s, politics, religion and his bemusement at the modern world all in a trademark relaxed almost zen like laid back style. He is no less the funnier for it with big laughs throughout his set make you wish he was on stage for longer!
‘A highly funny act’ Comedy Sheep
Plus your MC is Damion Larkin, one of Britain’s most promising comedy talents, renowned for being a spontaneous and lovable host.
“One of the country’s top new comedians” BBC
