One hundred giraffes stolen from estate in Burscough

Police are searching for thieves who managed to steal 100 metal baby giraffe from an estate in Burscough.

Over the last seven days thieves have broken into a shipping container on the Burscough Industrial Estate owned by Pangea Sculptures. The sculptures are hand crafted in Africa and then hand finished in the UK and are very distinctive, each being around 2ft tall.

Anyone with information regarding the theft, or the whereabouts of the sculptures, is asked to contact Ormskirk police on 101, quoting log reference number LC-20150916-0368. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
