A nurse on her way to treat an elderly patient has been egged in a random attack, Friday 23 March 2018.
The nurse who was shook up by the incident said two men drove past her car at speed and threw eggs into the car on Preston New Road, Southport at lunchtime.
She was getting out of her car to go and check on a patient when the incident happened.
Because her uniform was contaminated with raw egg, she had no choice but to leave the patient and go home to get changed.
Eggs were thrown inside the woman’s car as well as directly at her.
