A popular Southport Chinese takeaway has lost hundreds of loyal customers after getting 0 stars in a recent food hygiene inspection.
Health and safety officers from the food standards agency slammed the Top Wok Eating House on St Luke’s Road for its dirty kitchen areas and said urgent improvements were needed if they were to stay open.
Officers said the dirty takeaway could be forced to close and already customers have said they won’t be returning.
The damning rating has angered the takeaway owner who said that they were caught off guard on a bad day.
