Currently there is no collective representation for care homes and providers across Sefton. This meeting has been arranged by Jonathan Cunningham (Registered Care Manager of Birkdale Park Nursing Home) in order to propose that an association or group is formed that will represent the powerful views of the largest concentration of social care providers in the UK. It is proposed that this forum will meet twice yearly and have an active online support presence. Its aim will be to provide the very best quality of social care within a viable commercial sector.
This group is not intended to replace existing effective and active groups in the region. The aim is to work in collaboration with others.
This meeting is aimed at care managers and care providers from Nursing, Residential and Domiciliary to discuss the formation of this exciting new forum. At this meeting the nature of this group, how it operates and the typical agenda will be discussed. The largest social care group needs a powerful voice. Its time to be heard. Only those who have pre-booked will be permitted entry. Only care home managers or owners. No consultants, companies or those not involved in care permitted.
