Around 3.20am on October 15 officers were called to an address in Long Lane after reports a Land Rover had collided with a shop.

On arrival officers found the front of the property badly damaged and no vehicle at the scene.

Detectives believe the car was used to reverse into the front of the Aughton News store, before it was driven forwards into the same property.
