Matthew Walden aged 29 of no fixed abode has been arrested for being wanted on a recall to prison.

Stephen Murphy aged 38 of Birkdale has been arrested for theft and charged with 4 counts of shoplifting. He has been further arrested for being wanted on a recall to prison.

A 16 year old male from the Woodvale area has been arrested for a public order offence in Southport town centre. He was charged with the offence and bailed to appear at a youth court.
