New scoreboard installed at Southport Rugby Club

The club said on Twitter: “Southport RFC is delighted to announce that our new scoreboard has been installed.

“The electric board features a remotely-controlled LED display which shows both the match score and the elapsed time.

“Thank you, @FletchersLegal for the donation and continued support at SRFC.

“Consequently, this puts our once state of art manual board, that has been in place for numerous years into retirement, alongside the volunteers who stood in all weathers inputting the progressing score, this can now be done from the comfort of the clubhouse with a pint in hand!
