The hidden ditches of New Cut Lane in Birkdale have claimed another vehicle victim.
A car veered off the infamously dangerous road in the early hours of this morning before smashing into a ditch.
The incident happened a short distance away from the RSPCA centre.
The silver car, thought to be a Ford, was completely written off in the incident with severe damage to the cars engine bay and passenger side.
Its understood the force of the impact from the incident was so great that all of the car’s air bags were deployed.
A vehicle recovery firm has been dispatched.
