New Birchwood coworking and meeting hub launches to serve Warrington’s local business community

    By Chris Sweeney24th February 2026

Orbit Spaces unveils flexible workspace at The Point, bringing professional meeting and coworking facilities to Birchwood

A new flexible coworking and meeting destination has launched in Birchwood, Warrington, providing local businesses, start-ups, and hybrid teams with high-quality workspace closer to home.

Orbit Spaces has officially opened its latest location at The Point on Birchwood Boulevard, a newly refurbished building featuring five modern, fully tech-enabled meeting rooms alongside a dedicated coworking hub. The launch reflects growing demand from SMEs and remote workers seeking professional meeting facilities without the need to travel to Manchester or Liverpool.

Situated in the heart of Birchwood’s established business district and just a short walk from Birchwood train station, The Point offers excellent connectivity for businesses operating across Warrington and the wider North West, with easy access to the M6 and M62.

Orbit says the new hub has been designed to address a clear gap in the local market, with limited availability of flexible, high-quality meeting rooms and modern coworking space available on short-term or ad-hoc bookings.

A spokesperson for Orbit Spaces said:

“This launch represents an exciting step for Birchwood’s business community. The Point offers a smart, professional environment that local businesses and remote teams can genuinely benefit from, without the need to travel further afield.
We know that your surroundings can have a real impact on productivity and collaboration, and we wanted to create a space that supports focus, creativity and growth.”

The Birchwood opening marks Orbit Spaces’ latest regional expansion, driven by demand from existing clients and the continued growth of SMEs across Warrington. The site includes five newly refurbished meeting rooms suitable for presentations, interviews and team sessions, as well as flexible coworking space for freelancers, start-ups and hybrid workers.

Tyler Costello, Leasing Director at Orbit Developments, added:

“Birchwood has a strong and well-established commercial base, and The Point allows us to provide something genuinely valuable for local businesses. It’s about offering professional space on their doorstep and creating opportunities for collaboration and growth within the community.”

To mark the launch, Orbit is planning a competition offering free meeting room usage and a complimentary coworking membership, with charity discounts also available upon request.

Orbit has also confirmed that future expansion of the offering is being considered, including the potential introduction of dedicated desks as part of a serviced workspace model, subject to demand.
