Mystery urn discovered in Southport

An urn filled with the ashes of a mystery person has been discovered in Southport.

The urn still had some remains inside it and a kind hearted Southport man has kept it safe while the search begins to find its owner.

Mr Lee Hayes thinks that some of the ashes may have already blown away in heavy winds.

It’s possible the urn has been stolen in a house raid and dumped after the thieves made the macabre discovery.
