Multi Award Winning TV Favourite At LOL Comedy Club Southport
Rob Deering is an award-winning comedian who has cemented his reputation as one of the country’s finest stand-ups, taking six solo shows to the Edinburgh Festival, headlining all the major comedy clubs throughout Britain and taking part in Paramount Comedy’s Edinburgh And Beyond live show as well as his own Charmageddon and The Rob Deering Experience national tours.
He performs stand-up comedy with music, using a guitar, a loop pedal and his voice to create impressive rock and pop soundscapes – and do jokes, of course.
Rob has performed throughout the world, in shows from the Middle East to Melbourne, Shanghai to the South of France, and he has appeared on any number of Radio and TV shows.
On TV, Rob’s stand up appearances include Celebrity Juice (ITV2), Comedy Rocks (ITV), Sing If You Can (ITV), Celebrity Total Wipeout (BBC1), The World Comedy Tour (Granada), The World Stands Up and Edinburgh And Beyond (Paramount Comedy Channel). Rob has also presented Soapstar Superstar – Bonus Tracks (ITV2), Strictly Dance Fever (BBC Three), appeared on Annually Retentive (BBC Three), Never Mind The Full Stops (BBC Two) and on Big Brother’s Big Mouth/Little Brother (Channel 4/E4) as a regular guest.
Rob has provided daily coverage for ITV’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! and was the winner of the Weakest Link Comedians Special on BBC1. However, he may still be best known for drinking his own wee on 99 Things To Do Before You Die (Five).

Adam Staunton is young, small, scally and more than capable of bringing the house down. He’s funny enough to have more than held his own on comedy bill with likes of Sarah Millican and John Bishop.
A sharp mixture of eagle-eyed observation and simmering self-deprecation has so far endeared to growing audiences far and wide. Always hilarious, Staunton’s is a sure fire bet for the next big thing.
“What he lacks in height he certainly makes up for in talent and laughs” Three Weeks
“The writing is sharp, the observations sparkle” Fringe Review
Dutch comedian Wouter Meijs arrived in the UK in 2005 after a successful career in the Netherlands and has been very well received – a huge achievement considering he is performing in his second language!
Wouter now performs across the UK and has also been seen performing with his Dutch colleagues at the Edinburgh Festival 2007 and 2008 with the Amsterdam Underground Comedy Collective.
In Holland he was a regular at Toomler, Boom Chicago and Comedycafé which are some of the biggest clubs. He was also an opening act for a weekly jazzshow ‘Hans Teeuwen Zingt’ in nightclub Panama in Amsterdam.
In 2011 he was the Runner-up for Lastminute comedian of the year and Worldseries Manchester but then in 2012 he was the winner for Dirty Dozen Yeovil.
