Most In-Demand Jobs in Poland in 2022

    By Sophie Kreimer10th May 2022

Poland is home to a rapid pace of change at work. Both the pandemic and Russia’s attempt to invade Ukraine are driving people to seek work in the country. Today, we’ll look at the most in-demand jobs in Poland. It should give you a picture of where Poland is headed as far as work is concerned.

    Machine Learning Engineer

Commonly called an ML engineer, the job of this person is to create software that will overwrite itself. The end product is an algorithm. For example, the YouTube app knows what to put on your feed because of a machine learning algorithm. The people who made it possible are machine learning experts. Essentially, an ML engineer is also a data scientist with heavy skills in computer programming.

Machine learning is also used in computer games. It is why games today do not behave in a linear pattern. The enemies in games behave according to how the players behave. Machine learning is rarely used in the gambling industry. Games on the casino online pl sites have robust programming that relies on random number generators.

    Site Reliability Engineer

This is an engineer who creates and implements tools to improve a company’s efficiency and reliability. Most of these people transitioned from other similar lines of work like DevOps, software engineering, system engineering, etc. A site reliability engineer has the duty to develop a tool from scratch. What it means is that he/she needs to know how to code. It is why the SRE usually comes from the DevOps team. Also called SRE, these engineers are there to provide support to IT operations. They develop systems that alert other employees, provided that some changes or errors can affect the duties of other employees.

    Data Engineer

Data engineers are people who create software that transforms data into something useful. They create the infrastructure to make information easy to analyze. From here, the operations team can extrapolate statistics and draw conclusions from them.

Most people who transition to this position come from being software engineers themselves. Some used to be data analysts or business intelligence consultants. The two main skills that you need for this job are data analytics and software programming. It is your duty to write software that gathers, sorts and interprets data and shows it in charts and graphs. If you are currently a data scientist, you can transition to this role.

    User Experience Researcher

The job of a user experience researcher is to find out what makes users happy and what motivates them to use an application or a product. The main goal is to find what users prefer and use that as a business strategy to improve a product.

The user experience researcher can conduct surveys and analyze what users want and how users view the current program. It should not be confused with customer satisfaction, as user experience is about the basic expectations and practicality of a product.

The user experience researcher must be knowledgeable about the user interface. Most of the time, it is their job to plan what an app should look like and even produce a design before the engineers work on an app.

    Talent Acquisition Specialist

The task of a talent acquisition specialist is to find the right person for a job. They look for profiles on LinkedIn and gather resumes, and they also conduct interviews.

The talent acquisition specialist works in the Human Resources department. The skills that you need are recruitment, onboarding and interviewing skills.

Usually, someone from operations will tell HR that he needs employees. It is the task of the talent acquisition specialist to create a document for this hiring process to start. Part of this is the standardization of the job posting.

Some HR recruiters also have the task of setting up job fairs, launching a job ad on online job search platforms and other things connected to looking for applicants. From here, the specialist sifts through the resumes and reduces the number of applicants to viable ones. He will do the interview, endorse the candidates to the hiring manager and then process the onboarding requirements.

    Blue Collar Workers

There is an influx in demand for blue-collar work in Poland. The country’s main source of its GPD is agriculture and mining, but the spirit of growth has also opened a demand for labour.

    Here are some examples:

    • Freight labour
    • Cooks
    • Caregiver
    • Steel fixers
    • Tile layers
    • Structure installers
    • Concrete layers
    • Tailors
    • Locksmiths
    • Electricians

Today, Poland needs lots of workers in agriculture. Many farming provinces in the country steadily invite people from other countries for seasonal work. As the economy of Poland grows, there is also a need for workers in restaurants and in the service sector. As people put up businesses, they need more workers.
