Missing Southport Parrot now home ‘safe and well’ – ‘Safe and well’

Hamish an African Grey parrot went missing on Tuesday (19 July) from the Linaker Street area. He was last seen flying in the direction of St James Street.

Fantastic news, tonight Hamish was home after he was found about a mile and a half from home in Linaker Street.

Owner Steve told OTSNews.co.uk “Words can’t describe the utter relief and joy at finding him alive and well after nearly 48 hours at large”.

“A massive thanks to you and everyone on Facebook, especially AJ and Jasmine in Cedar Street (where he was found) for keeping him safe until we got there.”
