We are appealing for help to find a boy missing from Manchester but believed to be in West Lancashire.

Joel Maguire, 14, was last seen at 10am on Monday (6 July) on Wentworth Close, Middleton.

He is known to have links to West Lancashire, particularly Skelmersdale having lived in the area previously. It is thought that he could be in the town.

Joel also has connections to Burnley.

PC 158 James Gielty said:

“We, and Joel’s family, are getting increasingly concerned for his welfare given that he has been missing for four days now.

“If anyone knows of his whereabouts or has seen him, please call us.

“Similarly, Joel, if you are seeing this appeal, please get in contact with the police.”

Joel is described as white, 5ft 2ins with mousey brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black trousers, a black cap and black trousers.
