The Co-operative store in Ainsdale has kindly agreed to allow a trolley in their shop for items for our armed forces.

Organiser, Chloe Nicole Brown said: “I am collecting items for shoe boxes to send to our troops that are away on operation.

“A suggestion of some items to the trolley: Sweets, biscuits, chocolate, crisps, magazines, toiletries, mints and empty shoe boxes. The trolley is in the co-op now till the 30th of april.

“This is close to my heart as my uncle, Michael Aindow serves in our armed forces. He is part of a specialist team in the Royal engineers, providing infrastructure support to operations in the broader Middle East.

“Would be great to send a bit of home to them”.
