Miss Southport Keeley Riley contestant would like to show everyone what she has achieved so far in the contestant.

Keeley said to OTS: “I am a currently a miss southport finalist and I was hoping you could write an article on how much I have achieved within this competition so far as I have put all the effort into miss southport as I possibly can.

Miss southport consists of varies of tasks, from charity fund raising, a publicity challenge which consists of a Facebook page and voting via text, to vote you simply text MISS SOUTHPORT05 to 63333 there is a space between the miss and southport05 and it needs to be caps.

The north west heats raise money for a charity called the variety charity which is for ill, disabled and disadvantaged children! Over the last five years they have raise 220’000 for the charity

I have held a few charity events for the variety such as: a cupcake sale, a giant cake sale, a ball at the Royal Clifton hotel, with two dance acts, a raffle and a DJ, I have also had a Carboot sale and collected donations to sell on selling pages! There is also another ball happening this Friday at the ramada hotel, where there will be entertainment, red carpet arrival, champagne on arrival, a 3 course meal and a raffle:)

Not only have I been raising money for the variety me and two other miss southport finalists come together to give to other charity’s too! We collected donations from people who we never met to give to the Salvation Army, age Concern, cash for kids and Breast cancer awareness, we have also created boxes to give to the homeless which we shall be doing after the ramada gala ball event!

The contestants I did this with are called jade McCormick and Sophie Francis!

I also collected donations off people who I haven’t met to give to the RSPCA where I met a gorgeous dog called Clyde! I believe in adopting animals instead of buying of breeders!

I have also been on a radio station called radio heartbeat to talk about my charity work

Not only have I put all my effort into raising money for the variety charity and dedicating myself to miss southport and helping other charity’s I have met amazing girls who I never met before from this experience! I can honestly say I have made friends for life!”
