Miss England Finalist 34 mile rowing charity challenge

As a Miss England Finalist and Miss North West 2016, Christina Cunningham is raising money for Beauty with a Purpose, a charity that supports sick, disabled and disadvantaged children right here in England through strong links with Variety – the Children’s Charity and also World wide.

Christina said: “Steve and I have decided to take on the painful yet meaningful challenge of rowing 34miles each on a rowing machine on Thursday 7th July. The 34 miles each represents the journey I will be making to Southport’s Floral Hall for the Final from Bolton and then back. Joining Steve and I on the 34mile Row challenge will be Southport’s very own mascot ‘Sandy the Southport Bear’ who I have been tasked with showing around the North West in hope of further promoting Southport.”

“As a Miss England Finalist and from the North West, I am delighted to be coming to beautiful Southport for the Grand Final, and very grateful to Ramada Plaza Southport who are sponsoring the accommodation for all the Miss England Finalists.”

To sponsor us on the row we have set up a donation page, which will hope will reach our £1,000 target: http://m.virginmoneygiving.com/mt/uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-web/fundraiser/showFundraiserPage.action?userUrl=Christina22&faId=690339&isTeam=false
