Millionaire poised to take on cursed BHS store

The former BHS store now lying in a vandalised mess is being eyed up by none other than millionaire businessman Mike Ashley.

Following his shock takeover of the House of Fraser brand, letting agents behind the Chapel Street building are preparing for a bid to rejuvenate the former department store.

Emails seen by OTS News indicate that a firm interest had been made in the site by management level employees for a number of weeks amid the House of Fraser talks as the chain bosses aim to impress their new owner.

If the deal does go through, it could be the lifeline Chapel Street needs following the loss of Poundworld last month.
