Mighty Radio Firmly plants the seeds for grass roots sports in Southport!

Mighty Radio is now official partners with local sport clubs in Southport. Southport Football Club, Southport Rugby Club and with the Ainsdale Club.

Sport for Mighty Radio plays a big part with the community of Southport. Whether that be for your local football team, rugby club or cricket club, we are the local voice forSouthport to keep you up to date with local fixtures, events and all the latest results. Tune in on 107.9 FM or by your smart speaker to the Mighty Radio Sport show with the Ainsdale Club every Saturday afternoon from 3pm till 5:30pm with Phil Barton & Jake Barton.

With Mighty Radio now being the talks of the town, we wanted to bring the community together and that’s with all sports.

Southport need’s local content, that commercial national station’s around us won’t broadcast outside of the town.Teaming up with our local football, cricket and rugby club, keeps our town up to date with the latest fixtures and results.

Mighty Radio has been established since 2012 and is coming up to its first year on the platform of 107.9 FM. Since launching, the response so far has been phenomenal. We’ve helped raise money for charities including…. Queens CourtHospice, Alder Hey, Macmillan and the Love Isla Foundation.Mighty Radio has also helped lots of local events across the Southport Resort.

Mighty Radio has more exciting plans and projects coming soon in 2020 and we would also like to thank all of our 30+volunteers for making Mighty Radio, it’s Big local voice, for the community of Southport.
