Merseyside Police want to trace owners of stolen jewellery

2nd May 2018

DETECTIVES have issued images of jewellery which has been stolen from burglaries across Merseyside.

Two rings have been recovered as part of Operation Castle which has tackled burglary across the region.

It is not know where the jewellery was stolen from but officers are eager to give the rings back to the rightful owner.

Detective inspector Andrew McCourt said: “Operation Castle has meant a crackdown on burglaries and we have discovered jewellery that has been stolen in domestic burglaries in Merseyside.

“The items of jewellery that were stolen could be of great sentimental value and we would like to trace the people who owned them.

“If you recognise any of the items pictured please contact us.”

Anyone who recognises the jewellery is asked to contact the Merseyside Police social media desk via twitter @MerPolCC or Facebook Merseyside Police CC.

Information can also be passed by calling 101 quoting Operation Castle.
