Merseyside Police request for information

With the nice weather & hot summer evenings, comes the menace of off-road motorbikes.

Over the past couple of weeks we have seen an increase in reports about off-road motorbikes being used / ridden anti-socially across the area.

On Tuesday evening we received information from a motorist about 6 motorbikes (none road legal) on the petrol station forecourt at BP Garage, Southport Road, Formby.

Please see the attached photo. We are keen to identify those involved and locate where these bikes are being stored.

If you see anybody using a motorcycle or quad bike anti-socially please contact Merseyside Police on 101 or contact your local neighbourhood team. You should, call 999 in an emergency.

Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111. Crimestoppers is a national charity independent of the police. You won’t be asked your name, just what you know.
