A Door to Door Caller
It has been reported that a male visited a property in Burnley Road after the householder had left the house and driven off in his car. When his wife answered the door, she was told by the caller, that many houses had been miss sold cavity wall insulation and the householders could make a claim.
Although there was no hard sell he asked” Do your windows open and do you open them?” This made the lady rather suspicious and he left the property and went to the next house.
