Incompetent Merseyside police has failed to turn up to fleeing burglars.
Merseyside police was called to an address on Waterloo Road in Southport in the early hours of this morning, 1 January 2019.
A family returned at 02:20am to ransacked home and discovered that a safe containing a large quantity of cash and car stolen from the driveway.
The safe containing jewellery, cash and a black Mercedes GLC – REG PK67 UAJ was stolen from the driveway.
The home owners witnessed a male escaping the property and immediately called 999.
Merseyside police desk officer (1586) told the female home owner and her two young children : “We are to busy to deal with you” despite witnessing an armed intruder in the garden.
