Merseyside Police arrested a man in Formby today for three separate offences

At approximately 4pm this afternoon, Tuesday 27th June, Merseyside Police were called to Chindit Close in Formby after concerns about a man acting suspiciously.

The Police arrived at the scene and established who the man was after being made aware he was wanted for various offences.

A spokesman from Merseyside Police said: “The man was arrested for three separate offences at 4pm this afternoon.”

“The 47-year-old male was wanted on suspicion of burglary of a dwelling in Liverpool on 18th June. He was also wanted for breach of a sex offenders order by failing to notify Police of his address.”

“The man was also arrested for suspected theft of cash from a dwelling on Chindit Close today.”

“The man, who is of no fixed abode was taken into custody for questioning.”
