Merseyside Chief constable Jon Murphy receivea a knighthood & his deputy Andy Cooke awarded a Queen’s Police Medal

Two of Merseyside’s top coppers have both been recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.

Chief constable, Jon Murphy, received a knighthood for services to policing,and his deputy Andy Cooke has been awarded a Queen’s Police Medal (QPM).
