Merseyrail Community Stadium To Become Foodbank Collection Point

The Merseyrail Community Stadium will become a collection point as part of a new partnership between the Club and Southport Foodbank.

From Monday 2nd April you will be able to drop any donations into the club shop on matchdays or the secretary’s office during the week.

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry and we are very supportive of the work done by Southport Foodbank who provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis.

Southport Foodbank are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

All donations are welcome, but the Foodbank is currently running low on the following items:

Long Life Orange Juice – 1 Litre
Sponge or Rice Puddings
Coffee (own brand)
Sugar
Tins of Meat
Tins of fruit
Tins of Vegetables
Tins of Tuna

We thank our fans in advance for their support of this cause and will publish an updated list of required donations before each home game.
