Men steal dog after seeing Facebook appeal

A rescued dog which has been wandering around Southport lost has been returned to its owner – or so people thought!
Fears have been raised that two

Men have stolen a dog which had been initially rescued from Wennington Road, Southport.

A Good Samaritan found the golden haired pup wandering the Street and in a bid to return the lost pup to its owner, posted a message to Facebook.

However soon two Irish men appeared at the woman’s door claiming to be the dog’s owners.

This turned out to be a lie and now there is a frantic appeal in place to trace the two men involved in a bid to return the dog, which has already been lost once!

If you find the dog you can contact the owner here.
